joolee's forty

forty days. forty stories.

Julie Raine

If you want to get a pile of gear to the deepest field locations in the Antarctic, you’ll need fixed wing aircraft that can land on blue ice, and that means you’ll need to work with Julie Raine. She’s the fixed wing operations scheduler for the United States Antarctic Program.  She first met Joolee when they became roommates in McMurdo in 2006. When she’s not in the Antarctic, the other Julie calls Whitefish, Montana home.
