Andy Tyson and his wife Molly Loomis are accomplished mountaineers, guides, and adventurers. Molly is a Grand Teton National Park climbing ranger and writer and Andy owns and manages Creative Energies, a renewable energy design and installation firm with offices in Wyoming, Utah and Idaho.
Since they are far too modest to plug their own book on Joolee’s birthday website, we’ll go ahead and point out that they are each the author of a number of books and articles, including one they wrote together, the Mountaineers Outdoor Experts Series Climbing Self Rescue: Improvising Solutions for Serious Situations, a dog-eared copy of which resides on our short shelf of climbing books.
They live in the Tetons (Victor, Idaho).
Wow! I didn’t know Creative Energies had expanded to three states! Glad to hear it, and would love to meet Molly some day…and would love to hear more about Oman…? Fantastic photo! 🙂
Hi,Andy ! Since you visited the farm, I see a lot has happened in your life. So good to hear! Congratulations on the marriage and all those successes! Jennie, Julie’s Mom
Hi Jennie,
That was a fun visit. I remember good folks, a potato gun, and some nice Pennsylvania hospitality. Hope you are well and looking looking forward to spring!
Andy
And the sushi rolling lesson by Andy in our farm kitchen –California rolls I think ! First time I ever ate sushi ! And as we are in Crested ,CO on a ski visit with Julie and Bill, we’ve gone to the sushi bars twice , a real treat since we don’t have such in rural PA. I am well- retired from teaching , married Harv, sold the the farmstead with 66 acres, and built a new home in the woods across the road from the farm.
So glad you got to respond to this 40 day adventure. We love it. Jennie
